MEMORABLE CHIROPRACTIC SUCCESS STORIES

ANOTHER MEMORABLE STORY...

About a little cutie pie named Rowen…

Rowen’s ear infections began at 6 months of age and would come back every 3-6 weeks. This really started to concern her mother, Shaleen, because the infections were becoming resistant to the antibiotics prescribed to little Rowen by her pediatrician. At the same time Shaleen was also losing hope since the doctor was pushing ear tubes as the only solution. So one day during her scheduled adjustment she decided to ask if/how chiropractic could possibly help Rowen with her ear infections.

Well needless to say, I was very happy to have had the opportunity to speak with her about how chiropractic could help her little girl. After speaking in detail, Shaleen, Rowen’s mother decided to get her under care. We then adjusted Rowen a few times that week and her current ear infection symptoms started to minimize noticeably. During the second week, Rowen’s mother and I continued to communicate over the phone, as well as, while Rowen was in for her adjustment. After the second week Rowen’s ear infections had totally healed. No more discharge, fever, or pain.

We continued to monitor and see Rowen and Shaleen for routine wellness adjustments throughout the year. No more ear infections occurred, and her colds were less frequent and milder. Ultimately, Rowen never had to receive ear tubes and the body’s natural ability to heal itself was now occurring.

Kristy, a triathlete...

An athlete comes into the clinic. She was not just an athlete but a specialized athlete who did ironman triathlons. An ironman triathlete is someone who swims 2.4-miles (3.86 km), does a 112-mile (180.25 km) bicycle ride and a marathon 26.22-mile (42.20 km) run. An effort that is extraordinary in which a very healthy person can only do. This fact could potentially cause most people to also think once again, ‘why would a person that healthy need to see a chiropractor’? They are perfectly healthy, right?

The answer is of course they are really healthy, but we don’t treat patients solely on their presentation of pain. Pain is the last to show and the first to go, and it’s easier to prevent than it is to cure. The reason I bring that last point up is because a patient, Kristy, sought out chiropractic care in order to keep functioning at a high level. I am happy to say that after 12 years of competing in ironman’s and other high endurance races, Kristy is still out there doing it!!
